I was messaged about Legacy upgrades and realized I didn't post about here.
Current Legacy versions are 1.60 Base and 1.74 Cab2. I can make and test modules (1 or 2 writable modules required supplied by you depending on your need) for you to take home or I can update your base and / or Cab2 at York. I will have a Legacy System with me so I don't need your power supply but remote batteries are recommended.
Please make sure your Base and Cab2 are at least above 1.0. If they are not it will have to be sent to Lionel.
Orange hall lobby to the left of the main doors worked well. As long as you are standing there by 3:30 I will make sure we get you all set. You can't miss me I set up a small table and look pathetically lonely. LOL!
Just give me a heads up in this thread. I have about 7 or 8 folks so far stopping.

Need my CAb2 updated, been so long since I've done it I don't know where to begin. Sadly I'm not going to York, come over this winter and run some trains! We can talk all things Trek

Thanks to every one that stopped by. We did quite a few updates and made a good number of modules. Even did a Base3 firmware update.
We'll see how the spring goes if we have to do another round.

Thank YOU, Marty… for providing this service at York. Very nice of you!!! You're very welcome. I think sometimes, myself included, forget that not everyone has the means to do this themselves. It takes a half hour to 45 minutes out of my day but I enjoy helping and it's part of my Traincation experience. It was good chatting with you David!

A terrific example of TCA and the York "experience" being something other than just a venue where one goes to buy stuff. While I have no need for Legacy/Cab/Base-2 upgrades (not even sure I know what that is), it demonstrates some of the benefits and mentorship found in the organization. Hats off to you Marty for doing this...hopefully you got a few folks squared up with their systems.
