I'm pretty much finished with preliminary planning of my O Gauge 3 rail layout. I have the carpentry tools and skills to pull it off. I'd like some PAID HOURLY help to both accelerate the carpentry part and especially the proper wiring done neatly and easily traceable for boo-boos. I live very close to Frederick Maryland. Any takers..pls PM me!

While I'm not located too far from Frederick, I wouldn't foist my carpentry or electrical "skills" on anyone. A look under my layout can be a real horror show.

Thanks for some responses. I'll keep looking. Pay would be fair...lunch on me; free train buddy...lol; teach me to differentiate between left handed hammer or screws vs. right handed hammer/screws; stud stretcher; actual screwdriver vs. liquor screwdriver...lol!

Kinda reminds me of the old hourly labor rates list:
Base rate..........................$50
If you watch.......................$75
If you help........................$100
If you worked on it first..........$200
If you tell me how you would do it.$250
Good luck and I hope you find a good worker!

There is also another trains store in old town Mt Airy; I believe it is called the Train Shoppe or Depot. Anyway they may also have some leads for you.

Good luck Jimmy, I am in the Baltimore area; however, I would not be able to get there to hinder. I mean help. If you have read any of my layout posts over the past few years, you would not have me over. Let me know how long it takes to give up on the neat / traceable wiring. Follow Chuck's leeds. Alfred

Sounds like some of you guys are in a Halloween mood...scaring me about wiring my layout...lol! I know of both Perry's store and the great dudes at the Train Depot. I did ask these folks. Didn't get much interest. I'll just do what I can.

When I built my large layout sometime ago I was not sure I could do it either but I did. Take your time, read and take peoples advice. Don't be afraid to try you will be surprised what you really can do. Plus if parts doesn't turn out what you imagined do it over again till its right.
