One of our newest members Penny484 could not have said it any better when he posted this comment:
"I am new here. I am impressed with this forum. Hits all the right buttons for me (weekend photo fun thread, the o scale automobile thread, the York thread, the "like" feature (I like this as a way to easily show appreciation for a post) and knowledgable members. The Classic Toy Trains sponsorship really is icing on the cake, and maies me feel that this is going to be a fine front running forum for a long time to come. You guys clearly understand the nuances of an O gauge train forum and have a passion for it (not begrudgingly doing it as some kind of favor). It feels like the members appreciate the forum, of course that's true, but you seem to value your contributors as well and don't put off a vibe that it's a one way handout where the members should only feel privileged to be here). Nice job with this. I wasn't expecting it to be so professional and developed so soon. Thanks!"
When I saw Penny's post this morning, it made my day.

We bleieved from the get-go that we are on the right "track" with our goals and Mission Statement. Our model trains are important to all of us, but equally important to us is the celebration of our members who make this all posible. Not too long ago, I mentioned that the new OGF and it's approach to our hobby would be a good testing laboratory to measure what O-Gauge forum members really weanted in an on-line train forum.
Less than two weeks ago, we started from scratch. It does not take a laboratory supervisor to now measure the success of what has been accomplished in a very short space of time.
None of this would have been possible without the support of all of you who have joined with us. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though "only" 80 members as of now, people are posting, reading, and replying here. Quite an active group. Good vibe for sure. I'm excited about this!
