Notice the change in how the wiring was done for the Lionel Legacy H10 versus the recently released Legacy Atlantic. The wiring to the IR tether on the Engine versus the wiring on the Atlantic. I think the latter is the best way to do it. I’ll check my other steamer tomorrow to see what type of wiring was done. Photo on left is the H10 and on the right the Atlantic.

Checked my R&N 4-6-0 and the IR wiring is done the same way as on the Atlantic. Any reason to be concerned on the H10’s. Can the IR wiring be corrected.

To me it looks like the guide pin may be in the way on the H10 to wire it via the top of the draw bar.

I've never been a fan of the wireless drawbar. Give me a tether. With Legacy it would only need to be three wires, have it straight, no loop like MTH old tether, wouldn't be a noticeable as that. Plus you have the added benefit of pickup rollers between the engine and tender connected and the option of different length drawbars for us with wide curves.
