Folks, I have no idea what I’m doing on YouTube yet, but here’s my first O-Gauge YouTube video created with my iPhone. It includes some still-images I posted yesterday to the other Triplex thread here on OGF, along with some video clips of this magnificent steamer’s inaugural run on my layout.
Look out YouTubers… I’ll be offering special-run pieces of rolling stock in no time!!! LOL!!!
BTW, the cool wheel-slip feature is highlighted in the first video clip of the Triplex on my layout. Keep your eyes on the tender wheel-set as the train begins to move. Enjoy!!!

Nice! I love the wheel slip. Definitely a really nice feature. Beautiful locomotive. I think Lionel did a nice job on these.
Incidentally I edit all my videos on my iPhone. Not very convenient but does the job.
Thanks for posting the look at it!

Great video and yes, loved the wheel slip. Only thing missing was seeing your knife collection on opening the carton.

Great video and yes, loved the wheel slip. Only thing missing was seeing your knife collection on opening the carton. No exotic knife collection here... but I'm seriously thinking about creating "certificates of authenticity" for any trains I sell in the future!!! LOL!!!

... Although I learned video editing with desktop software a several years ago with Adobe Premier Pro, I was impressed with the ease in which iMovie creates a "movie" on the iPhone with a background audio track and automatically includes basic transitions between selected still-images (including Kens Burns effects) and video clips.

RM David, one thing I noticed is that there did not seem to be a lot of smoke from the tender stack unlike the front one. Did you have the tender stack smoke unit switched off? On my MTH PS2 Triplex the two smoke units are the same and both really crank out clouds of the stuff.

RM David, one thing I noticed is that there did not seem to be a lot of smoke from the tender stack unlike the front one. Did you have the tender stack smoke unit switched off? On my MTH PS2 Triplex the two smoke units are the same and both really crank out clouds of the stuff. Both smoke units on my Triplex work fine, and they pump out quite a voluminous amount of smoke when set to smoke-high on the Legacy CAB2. However, when I made those runs for the video... as luck would have it, an air bubble developed in the tender stack, which explains why there's no smoke from that stack. After the video capture, a quick blow down the smoke stack... and all was good... smoking like a storm again. I'm sure I'll be creating more videos that feature the Triplex. So stay tuned...
But for those who are curious... the switches under the coal load allow users to control main stack smoke, whistle-steam smoke, and tender stack smoke with on/off switches.
