Last Sunday some club members and myself went to a memorial for Tom. All four of his sons were there and quite a few people. There was food and drinks and his sons put together a video of Tom's life. I did not know Tom was a Marine or that he started shooting commercials before he started making videos of trains.
The memorial was on his property which is the home of TM Books & Videos and the I Love Toy Trains store in Michigan City, IN. Some of us got up and spoke about our experiences with Tom. His wife spoke and Tom McComas Jr. Spoke. Bob Phillips and I spoke, well he did the talking I just stood there.
