Give a couple of days plus/minus. So a couple of weeks to Lionel, couple of weeks to dealers. Mid Oct for delivery to my house. Wouldn't be surprised if the Triplex and other items are also on this very boat.

No knowledge of this, just past experience with the Mogul. The so called send it back to china for repair didn't happen.

Well, if correct, with the decoration error discovery and the transit time back to China it gives the factory a great head start to begin from scratch. As for the possibility of scrapping maybe they could be repurposed for upcoming VL GG-1s or create a new underwater reef somewhere!
