One wakes up this morning to crystal-clear blue skies and chilly temps, much like that September day 23 years ago. You look up and never forget.

I was still living in Chicago. I woke up that day and turned the TV in and I couldn't believe my eyes. They evacuated the Loop it looked like Sunday morning. I was driving horse carriages on Michigan Ave. at the time and everything came to a stop. I had to go back to work in the restaurant industry because I wasn't making money.
