Mine is the name of a Penobscot ancestor who, in a war and against the English, burned York Maine to the ground.

When I bought my first house, I had 2 Dalmatians that followed me everywhere I went. Just little pups. My buddy came over saw them and called me John Daddy... stuck ever since. So now I am JDaddy

On this forum, I decided to use my real name rather than an alias/moniker. I normally go by paperboy. I owned a Buy, Sell, Trade publication for 32 years. My printer was 31 miles from me. As it happened, the road I travelled was parallel to NS Shenandoah Valley line-Hagerstown to Roanoke. I also got to meet the local crews here + some of engineers/conductors on the line. One local conductor like to coin nicknames for people. One day, as I neared the yard, I heard on my scanner "hey, paperboy".
