Something to consider when weathering next time.

The tender is shiny while the engine is dull.

I would love to have a model of this engine but I suspect, scale, mainline C&NW passenger steam, is a dying interest. Since this was for the premier "400" train, maybe the tender was washed before the engine and that is when the image was shot?

If they had a wash facility, the brushes work better on the broad flat surfaces. The recessed areas don’t get hit as well. Tom
