In a just posted Hennings Trains video, among the expected train news Harry Henning revealed that his cancer had moved and was now near his spine creating significant sciatic pain. He is going to undergo yet another round of radiation and chemo shortly.
As a fixture the model train community in Lansdale and south eastern PA this is unwelcome news.
While it is righteous and appropriate to offer up prayers and condolences for families of the deceased be it our forum members, or noted contributors of the hobby, please consider remembering Harry in your prayers as he fights to stay alive.

I lost both grandfathers to cancer in the 60's one in 64 and the other in 67 so I know the grief Harry and family prayers are being sent for all of you.

Harry is a force to reckon with... and he has fought -- and continues to fight -- a tough battle. I wish him ALL the best. And I don't doubt for a second that his love of trains has helped sustain him through his cancer. He started the O-Gauge Model Railroading Tips-and-Tricks Facebook Group that has grown to be 23,000+ members strong. Amazing!!!
I'm proud to call Harry a great model railroad friend, and he's always been willing to help with anything related to O-Gauge trains. He and his cousin Walt even helped Clarke Dunham's team unload platform modules of my layout from the 18-wheeler rig in December 2017 and bring them into the lower level of our residence. The guys were due to start unloading the trailer at 9AM... but my doorbell rang at 8:30AM and it was Harry. That's how excited he was to be part of the team to assemble my layout. And he's that kind of guy.
Keep fighting, Harry!!!
