Hello Everyone,
It’s Tim and I started a thread on another forum almost two years ago and now I have can say that the project is 95% complete to my satisfaction.
Let me summarize this, after I got my Lionel Lionmaster 1218, I decided to start looking for Passenger cars. When it came time to decide what I wanted to model, I chose to do the NS program. This would be what if the 21st Century Steam Program could restore 1218? So I had 1218 and the NS Cars were added piece by piece from Summer 2017 toJuly 2019. I added a car of railways to simulate privately owned cars. All these cars that I have don’t exist as far as I know.
In the Spring of 2018, I added a Railking 4449 to go with my SP Cars. I added Lionel 1225 in the fall and finally yesterday, I added an MTH Railking Class J 611 with “The Spirit of Roanoke” on her. Enjoy!

She's a classic Tim. Thanks for the video. I just may have to acquire one in the future. Maybe I could send SW1 directions to my house and when he is in the engineers seat he could head north and I would have a very nice model of 611!!
Regards,
Gary.

The N&W 611 is high on my list for the coming York Meet. You never know where and when you're going to find the right deal but if it presents itself I'm ready to pull the trigger.

Tim you have a very fine taste in steam engines.
Introduce yourself to some of the steam engines that the N and W used daily back in the day such as the Y6B, A, and others. They feature raw power and coal dust instead of pretty colors.
Like your videos.

Tim, you just can't go wrong with any version of the 611. Having the real one on the raila again makes it even more special.

The N&W 611J always makes the short-list of my favorite steam locomotives. Even Lionel's postwar model was quite sharp-looking in its day. Thanks for sharing your videos.
