In case this is of interest to somebody else I thought I’d flag up an email circular from Pat’s Trains on a number of used models, in particular the two below:

The steamer is one I have long been curious about and I have not before seen one for sale. However, I really don’t have a reason for adding it to my little roster and as it’s elderly K-Line TMCC I am not tempted. I assume he’s got these on consignment from the owner and I did not know Pat sells on that basis. I am sure both of these will find a home - if they haven’t already. The MTH DDA40X is a great model diesel.

Thanks for the heads up. It would be nice if Pat had posted his announcement here directly. Perhaps some forum members who are regular customers (as opposed to irregular customers!) of Pat's could encourage him to become a member here.

I'm very "irregular" so I can't do that. With one-off sales like these he probably gets enough exposure elsewhere on his usual mailing list, and as I said I would not be surprised if these had already found a home.
