While your thinking of things to buy while your at York, remember we are only 127 days till Christmas, and first day of York is 70 days till Christmas, So while there if you want to get me a gift, I'm now collecting Standard Gauge  Don't waste your time. I have tried this before and this group is really stingy. Either that or I was bad, and Santa told everyone not to give me anything. That last one is a distinct possibility.

Note to all....if you are car traveling, NOW is the time to give that car a look over. I'm havng some brake work done on my jalopy, and thought a reminder will save at least me or others from being a roadside attraction.

We ought to rename it Octoberfest York. Makes sense since it involves delicacies like scrapple; beer; salsa and chips; some toasting to each other; hijinks and tomfoolery.
Anyone else has some added observations??

I have my badges and my hotel reservation, but I am still not sure I am going to go. Last October I came home with Bronchitis, and last April I came home with Pneumonia.
