Strates Show Carnival Train looks really interesting on line. If they get enough orders a matching engine would be icing on the cake. It would be funnel cake of course.

Nice catalog, the military engine looks interesting and the crane and tender sets are interesting.

The crane car and crane tenders are neat. They have in Guildford B&M scheme. I'm unlikely to jump as this won't run well on my tiny layout and tight curves. But I do like it.

I really like all of their beer tankers but I have enough tank cars (about 6) already.

It's wonderful to be able to look through a catalog and have NOTHING that jumps out at you as a "must have". Perhaps there's hope for me yet, and I can cure myself of this awful disease. At least it's a start. I just need to get though a small backlog of goodies from earlier catalogs that haven't arrived yet.

What about the 2-8-0 they have been working on? I did get tempted by their 2-8-0 in B&M but decided I didn't really need it. I have several B&M engines already. I have a policy of waiting 2 full days before pulling the trigger on anything over $100 that is not a need. I sat on it for a few days and decided to pass.

I now do the same thing, but wait 3 days to re-consider. But books and one time Harland figures would grab the credit card out of my billfold faster then a speeding bullet.
