Post by atsda on Jul 25, 2024 at 4:25pm Post by dennym57 on Jul 19, 2024 at 8:38pm I was at Harbor Freight and bought a pretty decent variable soldering iron. Got home and was all set to start a new project, but noooo I can't find the wire I was going to use and nobody sells wire thin enough for what I need!
Denny, over the last two weeks, there were at least 3 items that I could not find, even though I could swear that I knew where I put them. Of course, it delayed things I wanted to do. You know what is going to happen?? When we are not expecting it, we will probly unexpectedly step on it and get injured. Alfred
Denny, I guess you did not find the wire. I did find one of the items I misplaced. I found the wood glue bottle in a box in the hallway. I don't recall how it ever got there. I did do the repair I needed - just weeks late. Alfred

I never found the wire so I put the project on the back burner.

I really need to learn to put my toys/tools away so I can find them when I need them. Needless to say, my workshop is usually messy.

I never found the wire so I put the project on the back burner. Oh, so not only did you lose the wire, now you’re going to set it on fire and cause a catastrophe in your kitchen. Right after getting a new AC system!!
Great plan!! Sheesh!

Great plan!! Sheesh! I would never mess up my wife's kitchen, I would set fire to the basement, but then my house would go up like a match stick and I rather not sleep under a bridge. Then my ancestors would rise from the grave and haunt me violently and my wife would leave me.😫

Look on the bright side -- if your wife left you, you could then set fire to the basement *and* the kitchen!

My garage is in such disarray that after a short search it is more efficient task wise to surrender, go to Home Depot and repurchase whatever it is I can't find. After I die and my family is cleaning out the place they will wonder why I have so many new in packaging tools of the same items. Thats funny. I have done that a couple of times, but finally had enough and spent a few days organizing the tools and supplies. Of course, since then it has slowly gotten back into disarray. Impossible to keep up with it. What is that saying about crazy & doing the same thing over & over, expecting different results? Guess I am crazy cause my garage does the same thing, & my response is always the same.

Likely the same place my tube of clock-oil disappeared to.

I think there is a dimension were things go when we can't find them.
