Even though it's getting late in the month, it's not too late to share news about a Birthday, Anniversary, or Special Event. Certainly, remember our country's founding day.

Anniversary today...forty-two years. How has she put up with these shenanigans for so long? My version of this is to say that my whole family but especially Mrs. have always put up with me and my trains very nobly since I got back into the hobby around the turn of the century. I don't work on micro-scale ships like you do but I have been known to spend long periods of time at the dining room table (my workbench) with Opti-Visors on and especially when installing circuit boards and quarter scale cutlery in dining cars.
All this leads up to mentioning that we have an anniversary on 29th July when we are all dining out as Mrs. and I deserve a break from the nightly kitchen ritual!

All this leads up to mentioning that we have an anniversary on 29th July when we are all dining out as Mrs. and I deserve a break from the nightly kitchen ritual! Man, maybe we were separated at birth. The old dining room table is my favorite "work-bench" where I'm frequently found in my Optivisor trying to put decals on 1/285-scale microarmor and other such silliness. Haven't gotten to quarter-scale cutlery yet, but that can't be too far off. The train gig wasn't an issue until she noticed a couple years ago that every nook and cranny in the house was beginning to be occupied by old musty train boxes from folks' attics. I'm trying really hard to get rid of some stuff, but not many want it. The numbers are coming down, but it's taking forever. Oh, and an early congrats on the upcoming anniversary. Treat yourself and the Mrs. to something special!
