Hey everyone conductorrick, I have the MTH train set that’s about 8’x 16’, and was wondering if anyone has the same and if they use their phone or tablet to run their trains? Is it that easy that all you need to do is add the app.? It seems to easy to me. I see you need to get the DCS WiFi
50-1034 system to work it. Is it worth the money? I see it’s around $150.

I use their Wi-Fi system and app and it’s great. They have three different options. Are you looking at the DCS Commander?

I going to take a different view point than Adam. I have the MTH Wifi system and don't use it at all. 1. it's full of bugs, which never seem to get fixed. 2. I hate using my phone or ipad to run trains. I'll keep it as a backup in case my remote fails but I can't remember the last time I opened the app. As for the new Lionel Base 3 I have no interest in that either.
