Happy 4th! That GG1 is my next Holy Grail!! I originally passed on it because it wasn’t a prototypical paint scheme on a GG1! But I have changed my attitude and now appreciate the beauty and the artistry of it and those like it.
I gotta have it!!

Thanks. Full disclosure, mine is a RMT, specifically O Line Reproductions, it’s semi scale, and traditional operation. Push the horn button it plays “God, bless America”.
It’s a great runner, with two motors, it pulls a lot of cars. I use it to pull my patriotic traditional cars during holiday weekends on my upper loop, and it’s perfect for that.
I think the same paint job can be found on scale GG1’s.
