Basement is cool but we are doing major renovations to the house, and the layout has become temporary storage. There's no way I could run trains if I wanted too. So the pool has been calling, when not doing yard work that's where I hang out.

We are supposed to have a high of 91 today with rain possible late this afternoon. I’m a happy camper.

Definitely. It was really hot a few days ago and I wanted to stay in the basement to work on my diorama but the boss said we needed to get outside and trim the hedges which we did..so yes, I was operating under heat orders.

90+ today and mid 80's the rest of the week. Think ill work on my trains! The worst part the humidity is very high making it feel like the mid 90's.

Mts. Red Jimmy is Hispanic, and hot weather follows us almost wherever we go. It's H O T today....and will be H O T Tamale......lol Even so, last weekend (near Fredneck, Md) the heat index was just over 100 degrees. I worked outside nearly completing my out deck renovation....some joists; ALL deck boards; and replaced the entire railings. I used a black 4x4 inch square mesh instead of the ubiquitous pickets. Now I can see my small 1:1 railroad I have in my backyard!
