Am I stupid or does Lionel no longer have a list of what's shipping. You have to know the SKU number and look up individual items for the ship date in the Lionel Store? Case in point is the B&A berkshire now estimated for the middle of Aug.

Getting info from the LionelStore is the way to go. The old Lionel shipping Schedule was a static PDF that was updated twice a year. Using the LionelStore is real-time shipping info and is much more accurate than the old PDF way. Lionel's Shipping schedule page: www.lionel.com/shipping-scheduleeven directs you to the LionelStore for the most accurate shipping dates. Stu

Stu I prefer the list we used to get but I guess that's to hard for Lionel to compile the info. Back in the day I had way to many things on order to remember all the SKU numbers.

The old "shipping schedule" page of the Lionel website was always useless and out-of-date.
But nowadays, the Lionel Store is the most accurate data point for shipping these days. Charles Ro is "reasonably" accurate for the most part. But the Lionel Store seems tied to inventory that is available in NC when product arrives from overseas. On rare occasions I've seen "sold out" items just disappear from the store's website (i.e., like it never existed)... in which case checking dealer websites is the way to go in order to see who might still have something that's been shipped to authorized dealers and distributors.
Welcome to 2024, where there's no human communication about such elements of business. With rare exceptions, people don't seem to have those kind of soft skills anymore. So you need to "explore" the online outlets to garner the information you're looking to obtain. That's just the way it is... as if it's a game.

Other than to anticipate the pain and suffering my bank account may sustain at some point in the future, I have never felt compelled to keep track of the anyone's shipping schedule.

I have one more item on order that I will have to put on lay-away. That is the George Washington F12 class locomotive. This one looks to be a real winner.
