The last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind. I like a little busy chaos sometimes but this was too much.
I was surprised with more work responsibilities. I guess it pays to work hard but this didn’t come with a raise, yet.
We got solar panels and a battery system installed. I’ve been thinking about this for a while and it finally made financial sense. But talk about a few days of chaos and disruption!
Daughter one graduated from college and is now officially a teacher! She also got her own apartment.
Daughter two graduated from High School and will be headed to University of Vermont in the fall. Not sure we are mentally prepared for empty next syndrome.
And I ended the week by catching some stomach flu. I don’t even have energy to play with my trains.

Hang in there, Adam, and get lots of rest. The stomach flu usually goes away quickly. Hopefully you’ll feel a lot better tomorrow.

Adam so sorry you have the stomach Flu. My sister in law called today to cancel getting together tonight because she got it today. Hopefully it is only a 24 hour thing.
Congratulations on having two daughters graduate, one college and one high school. Special congrats on the one now a teacher and on her own. As for the empty nest, it bothered me for a while then we found we could do more things. BUT I sure do miss them all as they all moved at least 3 - 7 hours away.
I use to be the zoning officer for our township, hence I saw a lot of apps for solar. When I got mine I investigated real hard and finally got one and am very happy with them. No so much for my neighbor down the road as his company closed up and now he can;t get his panels repaired. He was left with a mess. Personally I love mine. My bill went from over $800 a month to $217. AND THAT WAS 10 years ago! I can not imagine what I would be paying now. Every month I get a credit from the electric company as I generate more than I use. LOVIN IT!
Get Well my friend

I think the stomach flu was brought on because you have been busy and you are just tired.

Congratulations on your daughters achievements, wish them the best. Also looks like there is a raise of pay in your future. Wow!! What a great week!
Well there is one downer, I had it a couple of weeks ago! It only lasted for about a 1/2 a day but the time I spent in the bathroom was not my favorite!!
All in All you had a great week for A great guy.

Congratulate yourself on having moved one off the payroll You miss 'em at first, but they gotta make their way. Look at the bright side - water and rations expense should fall sharply. That said, GI issues are the worst, likely compounded by increased stress levels at the plant. I remember those days...not fun.

Thanks everyone. Feeling much better today. Yes, lots of stress probably played a role.

Adam, get well soon. That is a nice whirlwind to be caught up in. Congratulations. Empty nest>? - more space for trains;; but that certainly does not make up for the not havings the 'kids' around. Alfred
