Hi all, I just recently upgraded some old proto 1 engines to proto 3. I just bought a brand new DCS explorer to run them. Figured I purchase the DCS till whenever in the future the new WIU comes out. My layout has 2 tracks. I’m powering up the DCS with my Z400 on the 14V ports in back of it. I get power to the DCS, get the MTH WiFi connected to my IPad but the red light for track does not come up on the DCS. I connected the track power to only 1 track on the DCS. The ground I spliced to all my other grounds including going to track 2. When I try to connect the engine it says no engine found. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a multimeter, I would start by seeing if there is any power on the track or, better yet, coming from the Explorer.

Also, start simple. Connect the Explorer to only one track to start with to see if it is working as expected.
