I like doing that but since I’m in Florida I’ve been doing it for months. It’s generally too cold on January and February mornings to sit outside even with a mug of hot coffee/tea.

Denny, you inspired me! I don’t drink coffee but I went out to the back yard with a sandwich, a tall cold glass of iced tea and my iPad to read the forum poolside.

One of life pleasures, hot cup of morning coffee sitting in back porch and watching the sky slowly greeting the day with rays of sunshine.
In the Winter months, I switch to a cup of Hot Ovaltine.

It was hot and very humid today near philly and I was out and about. Overall its been a very cool and damp spring but now it is starting to heat up.
I can't stand the hot weather so come on Fall!!!!

It was a great day here as well. Spent the day BBQing at a volunteer event in the town where I work. Our company has an annual week of giving where we get to volunteer for several things. One of my favorite weeks.

Dave When I lived in Galveston, TX, I enjoyed the weather except in July and August. The heat and humidity was almost unbearable.

I Barbecued our dinner and then sat on the deck and listened to the birds and frogs. I can even hear the creek if it is still and the critters aren't so loud. Watched two deer come into the yard and the stupid Groundhogs. I love living out in the country. SOO PEACEFUL. Had to come in as the gnats rolled in.

But yeah, it is lovely living out in the country. It’s all fun and games until the killers show up in the yard.

So far the killers haven't been back. As I do NOT like that breed of killer and am not a hunter, I have been using bb's on a light setting to give them the hint they are not welcome. Took about three times but they haven't been seen in a couple months.
As for the birds and frogs, it seems they are not in agreement. The birds want to come to the layout and decorate with natural scenic material that they can dispense. On the other side is the frogs whom want to come and add sound effects. What a dilemma.
