Darn, another train shop turns out the lights and locks the doors. I wonder if Trainz is just acquiring the inventory to resell. Bill

The City of Pinellas Park terminated their lease after several years. The building looked to be an old tire or muffler shop of sorts. HR did a lot of refurb on it, including several murals on the outside. Doesn't make much sense, there are plenty of vacant store fronts in the city. Don't know why they would "need" this location.
Shame to see them go . . .

I visited HR Trains quite a few years ago and they seemed to have just about everything needed to build a model railroad. Sorry to see them close but had they wanted to stay in business they could have relocated. We can only assume that the risk vs reward was no longer attractive. I really doubt that Trainz will reopen the store as they are primarily an online store.

I have been in this hobby forever it seems and I never heard of HR trains. If they were in Florida maybe that is why!
