Hah! that is funny Adam, never thought of that. Does that mean what I write will be banned?
Hard to believe those books were released since 1937 and have entertained kids for years. Now they are unacceptable for our kids to read.

Yep and Stanley could stop a standard gauge train at the station.... Stanley looks like our Cooper. Here is cooper with his adopted baby sister. She was a runt of the litter, even today she still looks like a kitten, wife named her slippers ( white paws ) she's only about 5 or 6 pounds

I asked AI to make up a Cats on Tracks poem in Dr. Suess style. Not bad!
In the town of Whiskerwick, under skies so blue, The cats wore hats, and their trains did too! With a chuff and a puff down the tracks they'd zoom, In a world where feline and engine both vroom!
**Cats on Tracks!**
Oh, the places they'd go, with their tails in the breeze, Past the Tickling Trees and the Sneezing Cheese. They'd loop and they'd swoop in their colorful carts, These cats on tracks were true works of arts.
**Cats on Tracks!**
With a toot and a hoot, they'd greet every cat, Wearing stripes, wearing spots, wearing this and wearing that. They'd race by the flowers that sneezed with an "Achoo!", And not even a sneeze could slow down this crew.
**Cats on Tracks!**
They'd tunnel through doughnuts, they'd leap over pie, "Why, they can't be stopped!" the townsfolk would cry. With a giggle and a wiggle, they'd continue their spree, These cats on tracks, as wild as could be!
**Cats on Tracks!**
So if ever you visit, just follow the tracks, You'll find adventure and fun, and cats with a knack, For racing and chasing and having a ball, In Whiskerwick town, the most fun of all!
**Cats on Tracks!**

BlueBerry is Stanley's sister. Single handedly responsible for destroying an O gauge trestle bridge by climbing under it... getting spooked and jumping up in midair. It is now in pieces...

I have had katz since 1971 and have never had issues of katz on tracks. It's all just a matter of training. (Yes! You CAN train katz!) Mine have always been content to just sit and watch the trains and listen to the lights and watch the movement. Katz are normally fascinated by moving things. Only on one occasion decades ago did one of my katz learn "the hard way" by putting their nose on the track while energized. ONLY ONCE! LOL! Same with the Christmas tree. Never had a problem. I did used to suspend a small cloth bag with a couple of mothballs in them as a preventative. But it really wasn't needed. (Back in the 1970s when I was a new kat owner.) Same with my permanent layouts downstairs. I have a couple of tall chairs that I have for spectators/visitors to watch the trains and my katz are very content to sit on them and be close to, but not on the layouts. The picture attached is from Christmas 10 years ago. The big guy on the left is the late great Mr. Meep and the smaller one is Miss Ingyow who is still with me. See how happy they are? And my newest guy, a young kitteh named Herbert spent this past Christmas doing the same thing. Just happy to watch and listen to all of the strange activity. Hope you enjoy the photo. We recently rehomed a three year old male cat. He had a difficult time adjusting to his new surroundings so was always looking for a cozy spot to hide. I couldn't find him one day and of course he found his spot on the layout where he was pretty well hidden.
I don't see how laying on tracks is comfortable.
