It's nice to have a friend who is a repair tech. He's coming to town today to have lunch with his girlfriend and they are stopping by so he can install the new motor in my LC+ Pere Marquette.
I had planned on driving to the train store so he work on it, but he told he had planned on stopping by while he was in town. Oh boy I don't have to drive anywhere!

Denny, That is good that you have a repair tech who makes house calls. Have some fun running trains while he is there. Alfred

Alfred He was with his girlfriend so he installed the new motor then they went to have lunch at a very cool restaurant here in town. I'm taking it to the club and run it there. He wasn't able to replace the headlight, because our buddies at Lionel only sell the entire front cover with the light not just the light.

I have a question that you Midwest guys should know the answer to. Is Pere Marquette pronounced Peer Marquette or Perry Marquette or some other way?

Why not just get a generic replacement lightbulb unless something is unique with the Lionel one.

Denny, that is annoying to have an integrated bulb in a front cover. Alfred
