With Cinco de Mayo one day away I figured it was time to bring this giant out of mothballs. My N de M Centipede been in hibernation for about 4 years. This Lionel version is a brute and has a lot of overhang on 072 curves. The N de M Railroad had 14 Centipedes and was acquired by Ferromex. Bill

She's a big one. Are there going to be videos? Big in all respects including weight as these are die cast diesels. I always liked the look of these N de M single units but ended up with the fantasy UP version, an A-A set. I would like to see a video as well.

Great-looking beast! I didn’t realize they came that big. 👍👍 Dave Hi Dave, yep the Centipede needs a lot of room to make the curves. 072 radius would be the minimum. Bill www.youtube.com/user/seayakbill

It would run great on the club layout. The biggest curve is 0-96.

That engine looks like a "right of way cleaner"...lol! Anything sitting too close to the tracks gets an overhang boot, and swept AWAY!!
