Passengers or No passengers For those who have passengers cars with clear windows and interior seats, have you populated them? If you have, did you put people in all the cars or just some? If just some then approximately what percentage of your passenger cars did you populate, and why only those? If you haven't put passengers in any of your passenger fleet, why not? What about the automobiles on your layout , have you put drivers or passengers in them? Please share your experiences using passengers.

My Pennsylvania passenger cars were populated with passengers in most of the seats. My automobiles are not populated for several reasons, hard to get apart, most figures have to be cut apart to fit them in.

For me I like people in my G scale trains because they are big enough to be seen. I don't think the smaller scales really need them but that's just me. As I have gotten older and my eyes worse I don't focus on the finer details as much. I can certainly appreciate them though.

Passenger cars are about passengers and their journeys; cars without them don’t make any sense to me. I admit that I have gone to some extreme lengths to populate certain cars but it’s been in the tradition of 3rail O scale novelty and even whimsy.
This car is my most elaborate effort to date:

Well, my only passenger cars are a set of Marx PW SF with window films, so no option for the addition of real "little people" figures or interiors without major surgery. However, some of the vehicles (especially those with operating doors!) have been populated, sometimes with minor surgery:

My passenger cars have people in them, I had to cut there feet off to get them in correctly. My cars are driverless cars so the rest of the folks are afraid to ride in them.
My passenger cars are about 33-50% filled with people with there feet amputated.

That is pretty awesome. Great job with the details. I could never do that.

I put people in my passenger cars. O gauge is big enough that it’s easy to see the whether the car is populated or not. No people looks wrong to me.
