Got a few videos from Pats trains today showing his new Black bonnet Dreyfus and a few others. The Dreyfus is very attractive in the black and red. Runs and sounds nice also. Also a couple of logging locomotives from MTH with one in the black bonnet.
Those black bonnets must sell because he has a bunch of them made. Amazing how many engines of the black bonnet schemes are made!

Yep, Pat is the King for Black Bonnet anything. Like you stated there must be a large customer base for these fantasy and big buck locomotives since Pat has done a bunch of them. I have only one set of the Black Bonnets. It was done quite a few years ago when Lionel was using K-Line tooling. Lionel did a set of double A Alcos in the Black Bonnet paint scheme for the LCCA National Convention.
