Thanks everyone. Happy I joined. A little about myself, I'm retired and live in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Having no permanent layout, I primarily collect rather than run O gauge trains. I have PRR and RDG. steam, all command control from Lionel and MTH, along with Williams conventional steam and some Polar Express pieces too. I'm currently concentrating on the Strasburg and New Hope Ivyland shortlines. I love Woodland Scenics buildings including early rebadged Menards offerings. Atlas and Dept.56 buildings depicting the 1940's to '70's era are also favorites
of mine.
Before switching to O gauge fourteen years ago, I ran S, HO, N and Z scales.
My cherished set is an S gauge American Flyer freight set given to me by "Santa" for Christmas 1952. That set survived a total house fire 30+ years ago and still runs fine.
