Cab3 has a internal power supply so no need for a power pack.

Cab3 has a internal power supply so no need for a power pack. CAB3 will power all your LCS modules, no need for that seperate wall wart. Won't power your track but the fact it doesn't need it's own power brick, to get lost or have the ground prong break off making it use is a big plus. I won't be getting one right away. My Cab2 command base is working quit nicely. Since it's now a August time frame release (what Year LOL) it can't come soon enough for those looking to run their engines in command mode.

Maybe I've misunderstood but in any case that's a new one on me, Gary. I understand that the Base3 will provide power to those modules/units that are needed for those who use the LCS system (and accessories although I haven't figured out if this is separate from LCS) but not track power, for which a transformer or some other power pack will still be necessary. I confess I have not paid much attention to the CAB3 specs apart from the fact that it will work with a CAB2 remote or a CAB1L.
