Menards Santa Fe diesels

I purchased both the AA red bonnets and AA blue bonnets last July. They have been running on the layout significantly since last July, logging in a bunch of miles and hours. I was running the heck out of both versions to see if they would hold up under those conditions, I am very satisfied with their performance. With the instore rebates I paid right at $240 for each set of the double A units. For a starter set, and that's what they are, a great set for the price. Obviously you can't compare them to the top of the line MTH & Lionel AA sets but they are comparable to Lionel's LionChief sets.
