Something like a point to point as a background on a layout would be interesting to model. One is always looking for something interesting to add as a background. What better then a forest and a logger railroad. Item wouldn't be that hard to find. Even an old, repainted conventional engine, old flatcars, and a crane.

I went to an open house several years ago where the guy had done a point to point working logging railroad. Even had log transfer lines in the trees to drag up the logs. I was so fascinated by it that it took me off guard when he started running trains to pickup and drop off cars.
