I remember back when I was a Squad Leader and we came back from a mission. Reports went in and then have a meeting with the squad, we all knew it was a success, so no accolades, rather I wanted to hear about the problems and how we could improve upon them next time out. So these "negative", "complaint" meetings had results. Never had a man ask to leave my squad. Never lost a man. We all went home with all our limbs.
I'm a believer in if there is a problem and those higher-ups need to listen to be successful. Covering up with praises and accolades is no way to run an Army, nor business if success and a future is the goal.

I love how the Dictator says bring your issues to Lionel. Well, how about posting a phone number or email so we can do just that, would love to give my two cents to the CEO. But that will never happen as they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them. Com'on Gary. You're smarter than that. Phone number or email can be found with a simple web search ... fewer keystrokes than it took you to type the above message. If you still can't figure out how to Google something, here's that ever elusive phone and email you're looking for: www.lionel.com/contactStu

On all these forums. Now we know who that guy is on OGF. And another thing Stu I wasn’t looking to contact Lionel. If the OGR regime wants the complaining to stop they should post the CEO email.

Well, well... once again the MODERATOR's true colors have shone through over there... along with the 11 brown-nosers (as of this post) who "liked" the MODERATOR's chastising of the forum membership. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they probably alerted him with complaints, since the management there has fostered such a tattle-tale culture.
Yet another thread gets stomped on over there in an attempt to keep the membership off balance. Heaven forbid the membership becomes too free-thinking over there. Definitely can't have that.
Let me be clear (if you haven't already surmised): I absolutely DEPLORE that style of forum management as being unprofessional and immature. And the more it continues, I can't tell you how happy I am that I told that management group off SIX YEARS ago. My only regret is I should have done it SIXTEEN YEARS ago. Why ANYONE continues to put up with that dictatorship remains a mystery to me. Really sad on so many fronts.

I haven't been a member since last year of October I believe. I posted a photo about new CSX paint and my profile was disabled. I was informed I had a 3 month ban and yet it's on the way to end of Feb. That's 4 month's now and my account is still disabled. All I ever want to use the forum for is to post real train content. I can't post about our museum because were not allowed to as you have to be a sponsor to post about that.

Now fellas I hope this is tongue in cheek as I did not want to instigate an environment of discord on this matter among OGF Forum members. Stu, IMO it doesn't matter how many emails, phone numbers, voice mails, texts, smoke signals, beating of drums etc that you have for any given model train company if nobody answers you. And I am not speaking of the nice customer service folks who read off scripts and do what they can to assist and buffer the decision makers. The failure to acknowledge and respond by management and those in a position to make or address improvements to legitimate customer concerns is the issue as far as I am concerned. Stu if you have had different experience I for one would welcome your perspective.

I must apologize to my OGF brothers and sisters. When I get poked, I poke back. With that said I've had many dealings with Lionel from the grunts who work the front lines right up to the engineers over many issues. All I can say the nicest people you ever want handling your trains but with that said the stupid ass management/owners who have cheapen the product over the years yet increase the price day in day out are the real pita in the story.
So at least we can complain, bitch or what have you here and elsewhere. Sad one forum won't allow it.
