As the old song by the Tremeloes said 'silence is golden'. But is it really? As the Lionel preorder period has expired (thank heavens) I wonder where are the influencers telling us what they decided to order?
These videos usually pop up shortly after the Trainworld Lionel love in catalog preorder live stream.
What are we to make of the silence? Is this a further indication that the hobby is dying?
If the sniveling, driveling gibberish that passes for impartial preorder selection videos takes some time off, thank goodness.
I kind of miss preorder selections by some influencers that regularly top $10,000. But then the want to be's always aspire to be those that have. And God bless the child that's got its' own says Billie Holliday.
Let them eat track? Marie Antionette would be appalled at such an idea. Cake is easier on the teeth and the digestion.
Now that I think of it unless I am missing something the amount of model train influencer videos have dropped dramatically. Could this mean that school is in session?
That they actually have to work for a living?

But heh I am not perfect. It seems as though I inadvertently recycled my York April 2024 name tag and will have to pay an additional registration fee to get a replacement.

Other than mentioning about 6 times his budgetary restraints as a reason not to preorder more product and promoting his own Eric's Trains custom run items as a reason not to preorder competing Lionel items it was a pretty restrained performance.
Now that is a new concept, restraint from an influencer; any influencer.
