I decided to do a St. Patrick's Day train garden this year just for some fun. The hardest part was finding a good song to go with the video. Hope you enjoy watching it. Let me know what you think. I don't know anyone that has ever done one before.

You need a green engine. Seems like the perfect excuse to go shopping.

You need a green engine. Seems like the perfect excuse to go shopping. My plan was to try and find a green train but I was having a hard time justifying the cost. It was hard enough filling space inside that 031 curved circle. Doing a St. Patty's day layout was under $100. I can live with that. Now Christmas is a different story...... Go big or go home. I like lots of action.

You got creative with the engine and it worked well.

You got creative with the engine and it worked well. Thanks. I am sure you know that it is my Lionel Polar Express. Black engines pretty much go with most things.

My favorite Irish song. Love your scene. I remember this song from the Ray Rayner show on WGN in Chicago when they did the segment on Lincoln Park Zoo.

Neat display. You could go to one of the coin dealers and purchase a couple real deal gold bars for the gondola.
