I’m just wondering if my Apple USB SuperDrive can read windows files. I’ll go to their website and look up the product information but thought someone here might know.
Found out what I needed. This drive is rather versatile.

So what is the answer? My Wife has the USB Apple Super Drive for her MacPro. I went to borrow it last week to use on my Windows 10 PC and it would not work.

What I found out was that yes the Apple USB SuperDrive can read and write on CD’s, DVD’s and Windows files created on a PC. I did not find anything about using a computer other than a MAC.

Just went back to the information on Apples site. It will only work on MAC’s manufactured after 2008 when they dropped the optical drives from their computers. It cannot be used with a Windows PC but can read windows files.
