Oooops! Change of plans! We were invited to join a bunch of our neighbors over at the golf course club house for a Super Bowl party this afternoon. Beer, food, hanging out with friends and a little bit of watching the game. Oh, and beer and food.

Neither: Sons and g kids comming over. Gonna play in the mud/swamp in the back 40. with the Quads. Have a cookout/bonfire. Cant be stuck inside when its 40 degrees in Feb around here. JMHO Rob

Having another couple over for BBQ and play "Risk". If you ever played that board game, it can take hours. Its our way of not watching SB and all its hype and nonsense.
Decade ago it would have been different, but all the WOKE and politic correctness that has entered the game has turned us off.
Sometimes in life, one needs to take a stand. I'm sure me and the wife and couple won't make a difference, but its a good feeling inside oneself.

Here's the Bridgeport Limited barreling south, exiting the 305 bridge for the run into Penn Station:  Lionel 1688 Torpedo dragging 163X-series coaches, the roofs of which are headed to the bead-blaster/paint-booth for a refurb. Now where are my snacks? |

I can’t do much with the layout until the roofer and insurance inspector assess the leak damage next week so I guess I’ll be back to snacking, watching the game and napping at home.
