I will most likely run some trains and work on the layout. I can see the commercials on the internet.

Quit watching football a half dozen years or more ago. Trains always win.

I have never really been into football except for when my oldest son played football in highschool. I will tinker with something on the layout.

If the game is good and competitive, I may have it on in the background and watch for a bit, but I will certainly also play with my trains.
I prefer hockey.

Both. I have 20 people coming for the Super Bowl party. Half of them are coming an hour before kick off to see the trains run.

It depends.
The Super Bowl is on only one day a year. I can play trains every day of the year. If my E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!! 🦅 were playing in the game I’d be focused on the game. Since they’re not, I’ll alternate between the game, the trains and napping in between. 😴

Looking forward to a new Coors Light commercial with the Silver Bullet Train. I dusted off mine this morning and it works. Anyways not much beats running trains and watching football.

Let me make sure I understand the choices: 1. Watch a bunch of guys out on some green field hold an endless number of group meetings/conferences while people all around are screaming at them to quit talking and get on with bumping into each other. After they go out and bump into each other for a few seconds they stop and go to another meeting to talk about what they did. Gather, wash, rinse, dry, repeat. or 2. Run/photograph/build trains and/or scenery and, at the end of the day have something to show for my efforts. I'll take #2 for the day Alex. Seriously, I hope those of you who enjoy football will enjoy the game today.

I’ll be watching the game. As Brian said, I can play trains anytime but the Super Bowl is only once a year.
As to the commercials, they’re just crummy commercials, no better than any other crummy commercials. I’ll record the game and start watching at least an hour after kickoff so I can fast forward through the commercials and all the other baloney.

I'm not sure what this "Superb Owl" party thing is about - I'm not much of a bird-watcher... Dave

WOW! I my guess as to how this would play out was way off. Beings I am not a football fan in any way shape or whatever, (Sorry Brian. Not even for the local EAGLES) I will be working on the layout. NOW my wife will stay in the family room and watch football. (that is one of two things we do not agree on)
af3020, I couldn't agree with #1 any better. Well stated! Also every time I see your name I can't help but think back to when we had a 3020 John Deere.
