Firewood, it seems the forums, seem to keep members on there rosters even actual dead ones to keep the member count up for some reason, either they don't really have the time to go through it and removed said ones or what. Not this forum! You don't post for over a year and you are still welcome to re join but you are deleted till you do. (I believe that is still the case. Maybe Emile will chime in and correct or confirm my statement.)
If it is still in effect it is a great policy as membership numbers are correct and best part is you can come back with no penalty or anything except open arms an a huge WELCOME BACK!

I assume it’s for quantity of members to impress advertisers - interestingly enough I was “disappeared” over there for a while and then re-appeared.

Just for example, goto members,( this forum ) look at all the ones who have not posted since 2021, not blaming anyone just making a point. In fact there is one who died over a year ago close to 2 years ago. Now I know they have better things to do than go through who is posting and who isn't. And I'm not trying to gripe at all. Just stating as it seems all forums don't clear non-poster from list of members. And it could be to impress advertisers. I'm sure this is a sticky subject to some and sorry, but it was brought up as on the roster but couldn't post.

The OGF is member supported, no advertisers, members do not have to post but should log in at least once a year. We do not impress advertisers-we dont have any.
