Hello Everyone! I am selling my Lionel LionChief Plus Boston & Maine RS-3. Includes the remote. I should have the box (need to go on a hunt this weekend), but if I don't, I can work with you on price. Price: $225 Shipped CONUS (less than what others are selling these for). Runs like a champ and looks great. Why am I selling it? I am a huge B&M fan, but I am also slowly migrating all my modern stuff to MTH and plan to use these funds to get the equivalent MTH engine. Here is a video of it running from some time back. I did run it this morning and no issues.

Hi Adam,
I'm not interested in the loco but as a newbie to 0 gauge, I am interested in why you are moving from this one to an MTH? I have several older MTH that I bought used on ebay which are great for me and just got a Lionel Lionchief Santa Fe which I also like as much for the blue tooth as anything. Any thoughts you'd like to share about them would be helpful...

Mike,
Great question. I find that the equivalent MTH locomotives (RailKing is the same price range as LionChief) to be more feature rich and fun. I also invested in the MTH control system years ago. Mr. Muffins trains has an MTH B&M RS-3 on preorder, so I was considering ordering that one.
However, I am actually also considering going back to basics to fully conventional for a number of reasons.
