Brian, excellent offerings… and glad to see you’re posting here on the OGF.
I’ll pre-order the tankers… but they'd be even better if you could produce a Vision Line version with tanker FreightSounds. Lionel hasn’t offered VisionLine tankers since 2008 or thereabouts. So they’re LOOOONG overdue. Perhaps you can surprise us!!!

I spoke to Brian at Legacy Station this afternoon. And the tankers will be delivered as described. He would have liked a Vision Line Freightsounds version, but custom-runs are limited to what Lionel offers in their catalog. So until Lionel finds it in their infinite wisdom to re-issue the Vision Line tankers w/Freightsounds that were only offered circa 2008-2009, no custom-run tankers w/Freightsounds can be offered.
Meanwhile, the usual shysters on eBay list them for $700-$750 with equally absurd shipping charges. One guy in western PA wants $40 to ship them across the state, and another guy wants almost $60 to ship them across the country. As I've said many times, these fools add no value to the hobby. They just thrive on being a greedy link in the supply chain. And nothing we say or do here will make them think twice about their business practices. Only Lionel could do that by cutting them off at the knees with a product re-issue that would most likely list at $500 MSRP, which the large dealers would sell for $360-ish... roughly HALF of what the eBay shysters want.
