I bought this engine in 1996 and I loved it. No sound at the time but it ran smooth. I believe I bought it at York from Mike wolf himself. When dcs came out I put it away storing it because command and scale was becoming all the rage. After 25 years of sitting idle I decided to run this again. So I tore it apart and oiled it and greased it! This gg1 is one of first from MTH in 1996. So its conventional but it does have a horn. Not great but it has one. Ran it today and it runs whisper quiet and smooth. Unlike the noisy and grinding of the gg1's made by Lionel with the pulmore motors. Dave

Beautiful Pennsy motor in a beautiful scene, Dave!
But, umm, I don’t see it moving!
