My wife took these photos for me when we were at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Sq. PA in October. For some reason, photo uploads were not working for me at the time. I ran across these and decided to try the upload again.
Can anyone identify for me the engine type and manufacturer of the equipment? If I recall, one was a Chessie and the other, a SF in the wrong livery.

(I finally figured out why the photos did not upload before; after trying another browser. They were too large. I thought I was hearing my screen access software announcing a size of about 700 kB, when in fact it was about 7000 kB. I put them into Paint and re-sized to about 50%; hopefully the resolution was not degraded to the point where they are not viewable.)

When I was there two years ago they were running G gauge. Some were LGB and others were Aristocraft.

They are still running G gauge. I had an interesting chat about 3 or 4 years ago with the fellow in charge. Evidently LWG use to pay someone to come and install the trains. They finally are doing everything themselves now and now own all the trains.

The Santa Fe is a USA Trains GP38 www.rldhobbies.com/r22212.aspxThe Chessie is very blurry. Looks like an EMD, possibly a GP38 or GP40. Hard to tell. Ron

Ron, trainman9, Curtis, Thanks for the info. As I recall, the sound effects were very good. Alfred
