Is Lionel extending the warranty on these transformers beyond one year like they are doing with CAB2 systems.

Is Lionel extending the warranty on these transformers beyond one year like they are doing with CAB2 systems. Why would they? The reason for the extended warranty on the CAB2 is the high failure rate of the charging circuit and the hardware upgrade required for verison 1 units. Is there an issue with the ZW?

No, I don’t have any issues with mine. I’ve had it for over five years now. I was just wondering since recent production seems to have some issues related to the voltage output. Someone posted on another forum that his has been back to Lionel twice for the same issue.

No, I don’t have any issues with mine. I’ve had it for over five years now. I was just wondering since recent production seems to have some issues related to the voltage output. Someone posted on another forum that his has been back to Lionel twice for the same issue. Lionel quality control at it's best.
