On my birthday earlier this month, my son and daughter-in-law gave me a belated Christmas present. It is a black anodized steel sign for my train room (no layout yet). It is a circular 16” diameter piece which has a cut out of a steam locomotive in the center.. They personalized it with SWSD Railroad at the top and bottom respectively. evidently, they had remembered that I had named my railroad for the forum as Sometime Works Sometimes Doesn’t RR. What a special gift. Rather than hanging it in the train room, I will hang it on the wall at the end of the hallway just beyond the door; in this way, it will be visible as you walk to the room, and come up to it just as you turn in.
