I can only speak for myself but those cars did not catch my eye when I went through the catalog. They are sub-scale at 13" long, which is certainly a convenient size for running around a Christmas Tree. They appear to be illustrated with full interiors and are described as illuminated inside (except of course the baggage car) but no passengers. This wouldn't be of interest to me but I can see why you might like them. My worry would be whether they will conform to the catalog when made but it would be pretty hard to mess up on "Merry Christmas" lettering - or would it?!

Those are nice traditional size cars. If you like, get them.

I think they are very nice traditional sized cars. The 5 different cars would look great behind a traditional sized locomotive. If I had room to store them (I don’t) I would get them to run under the tree.
