Went on a mini Menards rolling stock buying spree the other day. They had their 15% off bag sale going on and I decided to go fill a bag with rolling stock. Couldn't decide on what I wanted, so I got a few different things to try out and decide what I liked and what I want more of at a later time. I also picked up the catalog they had in the store for .99, it's nice to check things out on paper sometimes. That also lead to me ordering a couple things online that they didn't have in store. They each came in their own box that will work well for storage purposes later. A couple did have some downfalls in the quality department, but nothing I couldn't remedy with ease or overlook. Definitely love having this nice budget option to try out different looks for my train or for when I'm not looking for higher end rolling stock. Attachments:

Good stuff! I didn't realize they had a train catalog. It's always nicer to have a catalog in-hand.

You got some nice stuff. Menards rolling stock is close to scale size, certainly close enough for me.

I have quite of bit of Menards products. You may have to do some fixes every now and then but most is nice. If a coupler keeps opening use a rubber band used for girls pony tails. Find them in most stores that sell woman's products. I saw a bag Of them in a grocery store for a $1.99 for 250 of the rubber bands. Good luck

Good luck Dave I actually had this exact issue with one of them, luckily I have 2 daughters and had a big bag of tiny rubber bands that worked perfect to fix the uncoupling problem.
