Now I just have to build up the motivation to get the snow blower out and clear out the walk and driveway.

Now I just have to build up the motivation to get the snow blower out and clear out the walk and driveway. Or, wait till Spring when it all melts away. Meanwhile, enjoy your trains.

Great pics, Adam. Here in Maryland, we got another big nothing-burger; the streak lives - over 700 days since a one-inch-or-more snowfall.

My Confirmation class is getting Confirmed today so I have to be at church this afternoon.

Well, you have an absolutely cast-iron reason for going out, but I really dunno about these Euro trains of which you speak.

Fired up the snowblower for the first time yesterday - the second snowless Christmas in 20 years.

We had about two inches here, not too bad but the first in two years.

Time to fire up the arctic cat snowmobile. Have a sled/toboggan party. Big bond fire. Kids love it. They dont have to pull it back up the hill.

Final talley for us here in Massachusetts is 12 inches. Impressive snow fall. So how close, using Massachusetts measurements of course of 12 inches, how far is that from a foot of snow in Massachusetts? I remember when the snow in Illinois hit the 12 inch mark, we just said a foot of snow.

I remember when the snow in Illinois hit the 12 inch mark, we just said a foot of snow. You had me rolling with this one Walt. Yeah, I guess it would have been easier to say a foot. In Mass, however, you need to squeeze in a "Pahk the cah" or some foul language to make it official.
